“Giant Dipper (Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk)” oil on canvas, 28 x 36″. The second painting in my series of our beloved GD! I’m fascinated by historic homes, places, and our built legacies like wooden coasters. There’s something really tactile and direct about them! The sound, the roughness, the REALness as opposed to other newer designs. I especially love being at the beach, in the sun, covered in sand, whooshing around the track. It’s a heck of a lot cheaper than therapy haha. Thanks and cheers to 100 rad years!
