I have always enjoyed going to the Boardwalk, and I’m glad to see the historic Giant Dipper still going strong after a hundred years! For my piece, I decided to create a retro-style poster showing people’s reaction to riding the Giant Dipper soon after it first opened. I drew inspiration from Art-Deco posters and design motifs from the 20’s and 30’s, and even did a little research on what the original cars of the roller coaster looked like.
