As a Santa Cruz County local, Sydney (8) has enjoyed many special trips to the Boardwalk and the Giant Dipper is her all time favorite ride. This has been her second summer being tall enough to ride the Dipper, and she estimates that she’s probably ridden it at least 100 times (which she feels is quite fitting for its 100th birthday). She says “it’s ALWAYS the Boardwalk time!” and that’s what inspired her pencil and marker composition which features the Giant Dipper as the centerpiece.
