Our family spent almost every Easter break in Santa Cruz while growing up. This was taken by our father in 1977 at night with the lights reflecting on the bay. Dad took many pictures throughout his life with his 35mm camera and this is one of the only photos he took of the Big Dipper. You can see the old Fun House on the left, and on the right are the Ferris Wheel and Log Ride. Most other photos he took in Santa Cruz were at Seacliff Beach in Aptos.
