In 1924 my grandfather, who resided in San Francisco, purchased an allotment in Paradise Park. We are now five generations – some still part time only coming on weekends or for special gatherings – myself and husband now residing here for 10 years. In 2015 I wrote the poem entitled: THE GIANT DIPPER. It captures the essence of one generation passing along a tradition to the next.
