My brother Paul and I in the photo area of the arcade 1965, my mom Bonnie years earlier but not dated. These have been on my mantle since I can remember. Both of them have passed. The boardwalk has always had a special place to me for many reasons within my family growing up in Oakland for 49 years. I was married on the Boardwalk on 2-29-88 because we were so broke. We got married on the top of the stairs to the right of the Big Dipper but after the earthquake, it was the only set not replaced when re-building.
