I’ve been traveling to Santa Cruz since 2007 but most of my visits have been outside of tourist season. Because I was first introduced to Santa Crus via The Lost Boys, I’ve always wanted to see the Boardwalk all lit up at night and get some pictures of it. On this particular visit in 2010 I was able to make that happen and get some good photos of the whole thing thanks to UC Santa Cruz renting the park for the evening. My heart just soars seeing the Giant Dipper all lit up and this is one of the few night shots I’ve taken that have turned out good.
