When I was a kid growing up in Fresno, my parents would often bring me to the Boardwalk and the iconic Giant Dipper was always a must ride. I fortunately was able to move to Santa Cruz 10 years ago and live close enough to the Boardwalk in the Seabright area. Visiting the Giant Dipper now is something I plan to share with kids as they grow up and look forward to many happy memories.
In my entry, I chose to pay homage to the historical and iconic ride by creating a retro-style updated logo honoring the legacy of the most recognizable ride at the Boardwalk, the Giant Dipper.
