The Giant Dipper has always been my first ride of the day and my last ride of the night. It’s my favorite ride. I chose to paint this fan art with mainly watercolors. The Giant Dipper sign is placed in the middle dividing night and day. There is a red and gold border inspired by the colors of the sign. 95 years is a important birthday, so I added “95” to the four corners. The Giant Dipper opened in 1924 and I felt it was important to acknowledge that it is still open to this day in 2019. I hope you enjoy my entry!
